MalloyC. Michael
Malloy has
over 25 years of professional experience, culminating as a senior
executive of a national financial services and insurance provider,
where he developed his signature approach to making good business
better. “It’s important for businesses, and organizations, to take a
step back; not a retreat, but a point of objective assessment and
evaluation before they look forward.” Malloy feels this is where his
input is valuable. “Sometimes the difference between success and
failure is in the way a strategy is translated into operations.
Understanding business, the risks and dependencies, and defining
those initiatives most critical to the success of an organization,
determines a company’s viability.”
Malloy sees one of his
roles as bringing clarity to an organization. He understands and
utilizes the key drivers and measures of success that will work for
each client, and he helps companies develop checkpoints to keep
measurements on track. Mike aids companies in aligning their
priorities. He examines strategic and operational issues, then
identifies where they are in their life cycle, developing a focus
that will carry them into the future while assisting with financial
strategies.
A University of
Michigan alumnus, he is a member of or has held positions with a
number of organizations, including: Michigan Association of
Certified Public Accountants, National Association of Securities
Dealers (general securities principal), Financial Executives
Institute, Michigan Catastrophic Claim Association (past chair),
Michigan Property and Casualty Guaranty Association (past chair),
Health Alliance Plan (board member), and Henry Ford Community
College Foundation (board member).
